Thanks for the video and the tip about the paint strainer. I also drink the fibers because it helps reduce the feeling of hunger, and the need to eat more. VitaMix blender is definitely needed in this case for its horsepower to blend kale into drinkable form. Drink to your health!

Actually, juicers work on the same principle. Most of them use a fine wire mesh strainer to separate the juice from the fiber. In fact you can pick up a strainer for a few bucks that's washable and re-usable.

@ Kimoni6- I made my own 'nut milk bag' using a piece of Nylon material I purchased at the local fabric store, I purchased half a yard of material & made 4 bags. I just used the straight stitch on my sewing machine, then went back over the same area using a zig-zag stitch. I use one to hang from the hook over the sink, one for juicing, one for cheese and the other is just a spare. |
